I frequently find carpets that were shampooed and not even rinsed well, so the Extractor is much better at eliminating all that extra dirty soap embedded in there too.Ĭongratulations on your future purchase ! Hope it all works out for you !ĭan FYeah, that was mainly the reason I got it. Nothing like a "clean smell" inside a vehicle that only comes from getting as much dirt out as possible. Just getting as much embedded dirt out of carpets as possible totally changes the way a vehicle looks and smells. It is that good at pulling dirt out of carpets.Īnd another thing it does extremely well is to extract cloth covered seats, if you get those occasionally. I have NEVER seen anything but dark brown to black water when I drain my Recovery Tank. The motor on my HP60 is also the 3-stage. There are lots of Extractors out there, and I found this particular model to be the best fit for my needs. When I went out to buy an Extractor, the biggest concerns I had were the ability to do great work quickly and thoroughly, and reliability. ![]() Tools for the machine, I am assuming you will want a carpeting tool and another one to get between the seats and the console, etc., are going to be a couple hundred bucks extra, I think. If you live in CA, the Mytee company is in SoCal. Before the water passes through the RO membrane it goes through a carbon filter that removes the bleaches and different chemicals that can damage the membrane. I`m not doubting you but it seems strange to me. You can buy a ppm meter for 20 bucks and really see whats going on. why would it have an effect on your pressure washer? Now if you need to replace the resin and its exhausted, you could be washing the filters leaving the water dirtier than it came from the tap. From what i understand DI water takes the metal impurities by sort of a magnet effect, if you will anion and cation reactions. Reason being Propelene gylcol and tap with different mineral impurities mixed with heat and constant temperature differences made it corrosive. They repeated over and over the importance of using distilled water opposed to tap water. Thats funny, are you sure the signs you saw weren`t because you had been using tap before you switched to DI? Lets see a few years ago in a GM class they had covered coolant, and the main reason why they switched to propolene gylcol. I now use RO water from the grocery store, less hard minerals to gum up, it also cleans better than the hard water from the tap. DI water WILL work over your metal parts for sure, my pressure washer showed some signs in short order unless I ran tap water right after DI.
